Maya Shields, Staff Writer
Maya Shields is a senior at Seattle Prep and is very excited for her second year as a staff writer for The Panther. She leads the Environmental Alliance at Prep and is very passionate about saving our planet! Maya loves writing for The Panther, but also loves to read. She read 12 books during the COVID-19 quarantine, and continues to add more to her list. Her go-to coffee order is an iced matcha latte with oat-milk. Maya was also maid of honor in her mom’s (socially distant) wedding over the summer (pictured above)!!
