Hudson Patterson
Candidate Statement: Hi Panthers! I am Hudson Patterson and I want to be your Freshman Class Executive. I am a strong leader who works hard in all my endeavors. I have experience, for at my old school, I was the student body president. I hope to serve as a kind and gentle leader who will strive to be a voice for you all as opposed to a ruler over you. I hope that you consider to give me your vote! Thank you!
Candidate Statement: Hello Freshman class of 2018! My name is Will Forster and I want to be your class president. I believe that my determination and positivity will make this year one of Preps best. My plan is to improve the school’s productivity and fun exponentially.
Candidate Statement: My name is Marcus Brown and I am running for Freshman Class Executive. I enjoy school, snorkeling and sports. As Freshman Class Executive, I would like to make Seattle Prep a more friendly and happy community and make sure that everyone is excited to go to school every day. My goal is to always leave somewhere in better shape than when I found it, and to always put a smile on someone’s face. Please vote for me as Freshman Class Executive. You won’t regret it.
Candidate Statement: Hi, my name is Nailah Patrick. I’m running to be a freshman class officer. I believe I can make this year an even greater year than it already is. I have lots of ideas and know together we can standout together if I’m elected.
Candidate Statement: I am Sophia Saturnino. I have had leadership experiences when I was in middle school, and I am currently involved in our Pulse dance team. You should vote for me, because I believe our events should be run by OUR class. Events, assemblies, and fundraisers should be planned in a fun but organized way. I think that I would be a great representative for OUR class and not MY class! As John Quincy Adams said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”
Candidate Statement: Two years. Ten countries. One passion: my community. Living in Shanghai as an international student had developed my love for traveling (which is one of my many hobbies) and really opened doors for me to see, learn, and experience new things, and most importantly, serve my community. Through cultural exchange, I have gained much insight into solving problems from different perspectives, which I believe will be extremely useful here at the diverse ASB environment in Prep. From my passions for debate and public speaking, I believe I can be a great leader, not just one with great ideas and the ability to present them, but one who is collaborative and compassionate too. I am extremely excited to be back in Washington, ready to go back to skiing during the winters and cheering on the Seahawks for another year of success! But most of all, I couldn’t be more thankful for a better opportunity than to be a part of the ASB office.
Candidate Statement: Hi! I am Hana Long and I am running for freshman class president. I believe that my natural sense of leadership will get me far. I have many great ideas to improve the school. I will try to listen to all of your thoughts and opinions.
Candidate Statement: My name is Samantha Sommerville but I often go by Sam and I am one of the candidates running for ASB this year. I attended Our Lady of Guadalupe School last year and I am on the Seattle Prep cross country team. I would be a good ASB officer because I like being a part of student government and would do all I could to make sure I did a great job. I would work hard and accomplish every task to my best efforts. So please vote for me during the election.
