COVID-19 Fast Facts

The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) which has caused health problems for many throughout the Seattle area. Concerns over the Coronavirus have caused all schools in Washington to shut down.

  • Symptoms: Fever over 100.5, cough, runny nose, sore throat, diarrhea, and nausea. Trouble breathing, chest pain, and pneumonia are some of the more severe symptoms.
  • COVID-19 is called a “novel” coronavirus because it has not previously been identified in humans.
  • An infected person might not show symptoms for up to 14 days (hence the social distancing and school cancellations).
  • Coronavirus might go away when it gets warmer. MIGHT.
  • The vaccine could be ready in the next 12-18 months.
  • To stay healthy, get plenty of rest, stay hydrated, and boost your immune system with foods rich in Vitamin C, D, E, and zinc. Probiotics can also help. Try to keep your stress down.
