Controversial Spelling Bee Finals Stirs up the Pot

When most people thing of Olympic week they think of Karaoke, Handball, or even Kinect Dance-Off. Very few people would put the Spelling Bee as their most anticipated event, but that could change next year with an eventful final this year.

The final consisted of two freshmen along with Mr. Kiehn. Kiehn had little trouble winning the finals but not without controversy. Many freshmen felt that Kiehn’s words were much easier than the words the freshmen had to spell.
