Teachers Take Tug-of-War Title

Olympic Week tug-of-war confronted Teilhard Collegio with an unfortunate series of rematches. After losing their first game to the Senior team, Teilhard now found themselves opposite the Seniors for the second time that day. It was the semifinal to see who would play the faculty in the final–a team the seniors had already lost to. Teilhard improbably won this second matchup, and advanced to the finals on Friday.

Teilhard lost quite handily to the Faculty in this final, who were powered Coach Durand and his half on, half off Olympic week shirt. The seniors dominated the third place match, claiming 50 points to add to their Olympic week margin of victory. The faculty added to their win in basketball with this victory, and Teilhard used their share of the points to contribute to an overall third place finish.
