The Senior class captured Karaoke gold with a performance that highlighted their role as “survivors.”
Sing Your Heart Out
During Olympic Week, karaoke is one of the events where the students are most able to express their creativity and show off their singing and dance moves.
The entire school was able to watch the concluding sing/dance-off in the finals assembly. Third place went to the Sophomores in Juana Collegio who performed a combination of “Billionaire” by Bruno Mars, “1, 2 Step” by Ciara ft. Missy Elliot, and “All of the Lights” by Kanye West ft. Rihanna and Kid Cudi.
Juniors of Kostka Collegio took second place with a song and dance to “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond.
Finally, with a performance to “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child ft. Da Brat, the first place winners were the Seniors. Judges were impressed with the shows that were put on by these very talented students.
