At the annual Washington Journalism Education Association fall conference “J-Day” at Everett Community College, the Seattle Prep Panther news website won the Emerald Award–the top prize given to student journalism by the state organization.
This is the second time that The Panther has been recognized with an Emerald Award. Back in 2021 The Panther won both the newspaper and website awards.
