You Just Got Served: Ping Pong

Panthers were kept on the edge of their seats during the final match of Olympic Week Ping Pong. Freshman Kyle Carlesimo of Gonzaga Collegio, and Alex Blattner of Kostka Collegio battled in a close round during the Finals Assembly.

Seniors came in third place, after a well fought effort. Surprisingly, faculty did not place this year. The faculty representative, Mr. Mitchell, is known for his strategic skill, but was defeated before he could place. Students gathered outside of the theatre to watch the intense match-ups. Games were played to 11, and many students decided who served first based on the R-A-L-L-Y technique- where opponents rally back and forth until one student lost the rally. This created an intense environment from the start of the game, which kept everyone watching intently.
