Juniors Kick off Olympic Week with Opening Ceremonies Win
There is no better way to kick off Olympic Week, than with opening ceremonies. This year, students were curious and excited to see what each class had prepared for their skit. In the past, the class of 2017 has had notoriously bad skits, but this year expectations and hopes were set high.
Though most students agreed that the Juniors’ Oscar skit deserved first place, there was some outrage that the Freshman took second over the Seniors. The Freshman’s skit was good and their lighthearted jokes towards other classes and faculty were both lighthearted and funny. However, most people believed that the Senior’s Bachelor skit which included photos posted around the school, props, humor, and flattery towards the judges deserved second place. Despite the upset among the Senior class, the opening ceremony assembly was a fun, humorous way to start of the competition.
