Quiz Bowl Pits Panther Wits

Great minds went head to head this week in a battle of intellectual stimulation and random knowledge called the quiz bowl.

On Thursday, students from all Collegios as well as Seniors and Faculty took to room I100 to compete. The teams of four were given a test consisting of 120 questions ranging from STEM to Seattle Prep. After 30 minutes of rushed whispers and deep thought, the teams put their pencils down and the scores were tallied.

On Friday, four teams went head to head at the semi-finals: Faculty, Seniors, and the Collegios Hopkins and Bellarmine. Each team went against another to say the answer to questions posed as fast as they could. Ultimately, the Faculty team of Ms. Dotsey, Mr. Elsner, Ms. Freeman, and Mr. McCarthy took first with the Seniors at second.
