A Joust to the Death
At Seattle Prep, the Panthers take Olympic Week very seriously. But nothing is taken more seriously than one of the most popular olympic week events of all time, Jousting. In this sport, two players start out facing each other by standing on two unsteady inflatable podiums. Each player is holding a long inflatable jousting stick. As soon as the game starts, the players start hitting each other with their jousting sticks in order to attempt to throw the other player off their podium. Anyone who touches the ground with bare skin is an immediate loss.
For this years Olympic Week, there were many great players that fought hard for their team. However, it all came down to the last two players, both from Junior Collegios. Ultimately, Brennan Holmes emerged victorious over fellow Junior Adrian Brogan at the final Olmpic Week ceremony. The Panthers will have to wait until next year for the next jousting champion!
