Emi Nakata, Online Editor
Emi Nakata, a Senior at Seattle Prep, has been on The Panther staff for two years and is now an Online Editor. She has been a captain on the PULSE Dance Team for three consecutive years with her highlight being falling on her face in front of hundreds of people at the Homecoming Game half-time show (Go to @preppulse on Youtube and watch "PULSE HCG 2019" for the full clip). When Emi is not dancing or making Tik Toks with her best friend, Daniela, she can be found lying on the floor or playing obnoxiously loud country music in the car. She loves her dog, Koa, and she is most inspired by her grandmother, Kathy, who calls ketchup, "katss-up". A few of Emi's favorite snacks are ice cubes, dill pickle spears, circus animal cookies, pretzel buns, strawberries and brown sugar, roasted broccoli, birthday cake ice cream, pickled ginger, mozzarella cheese, and popcorn with chili powder.
