The Seattle Prep Panther

Kellen Kavanagh
Kellen Kavanagh is a three year member of the Panther staff, and is excited to enter his senior year serving as the paper’s sports editor. Outside of Prep, Kellen rows year-round at Pocock Rowing Center, where he has rowed all four years of high school, and hopes to contribute to another successful year after qualifying for Youth Nationals last spring in the men’s quad. On the rare occasion he has free time, Kellen enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, biking, fishing, skiing, hiking, and climbing, but most likely will be unable to do any of these this fall due to his college apps. Kellen is excited for another year of writing for the Panther and hopes to spotlight sports at Prep in new and interesting ways.
