What are you teaching/working on at Prep?

 I am so excited to back at Prep this year!  Last fall I taught in the science department when Ms. Tordillos and Dr. Kipp had their babies.  I love the Prep students and teachers, and I so happy to be here!

 

Where did you grow up?

Spokane.

 

What College or University did you attend?

Notre Dame.

 

What was the highlight of your summer?

Spending time outdoors with my family- hiking, biking, trail running, swimming.

 

How did you spend your time during quarantine?

 Lots of walks, gardening and baking.

 

What was your first job?

 I worked in a photography studio.  One of my jobs was to process high school dance photos.

 

Do you have any hidden talents?

 Scuba diving

 

Where did you go to high school?

 Gonzaga Prep

 

What was the most popular song during your senior year of high school?

 “That’s what friends are for” by Dionne and friends

 

What career did you want to pursue in high school?

 Either medical school or teaching.

 

Can you remember any slang terms people used when you were in high school?

 Anything cool was “rad”.  Like my first Walkman and my trapper keeper.

 

What superhero do you most identify with?  Why?

Well I have always wanted to be Aquaman so I could summon marine friends from far distances and communicate with them.

 

What preparation of potato are you? (fries, baked, sweet potato, hash, etc.)

Sweet potato with butter and brown sugar.

 

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

South America and the Galapagos Islands
